This came up on a google search for dir-655 firmware. The latest on the dlink site is 1.37 (5/2013), I have an A4 running 1.21. I do remember years and years ago I tried to flash up and the new firmware at the time (1.3x something) sucked ass, kept dropping connections like crazy.
